Product is a smaller diameter cable then most I own. However for the price this is to be expected. Just an average cable for the price.
Great price, fast shipping, great quality, etc. It works well with my LCD and DVD player. I haven’t tried it with my camcorder yet. Most likely I’ll order another 6 ft one and probably a 9 foot one too.
This is the second cable I bought from Amazon. My laptop fell and the connector snapped off the cable and stayed attatched to the computer. At this price I could buy five more for what it would cost me for a one meter Monster cable from Best buy. The quality otherwise has exceeded all my expectations. If you’re questioning the buy based on the Amazon name tag, you shouldn’t. I like the stripped down packaging as well.
I ordered two of these due to the good reviews and the awesome low price. However after several months of use I am left rather disappointed with both cables. I use(d) one to connect my PS3 to my HDTV, and one to connect my PC to my monitor. Both have problems transmitting signal between the devices. The PS3 cord fits loosely into the back of the PS3 and will lose picture at the slightest provocation, and the PC monitor cord causes SO much trouble that I went back to the VGA hookup. (Monitor would not pick up a signal, would have to restart PC umpteen times before it finally would catch it and display a picture.) As far as that goes, I troubleshooted using every different configuration I could come up with. Final verdict is poor quality HDMI cable, I switched back to older cables and now everything works fine again.
Save yourself the hassle and buy a better quality brand even if it’s more money, these aren’t worth the effort. Video and sound quality was fine through them, when they WORKED the way they were supposed to, but just so not worth it.
After seeing two meter HDMI cables being sold for multiple tens of dollars, I checked Amazon and bought this three meter puppy. Handles all the ones and zeroes as well as the high-priced spread and comes in “Frustration Free” packaging!
Thanks, Amazon!
